Community Land Trusts:
Creating an Affordable, Equitable Future
February 7, 2024
Join us for an evening of connection and information on February 7, 2024 from 5:30 to 7:30 at the Washington Center for the Performing Arts Black Box Theater. This free event is an opportunity to learn more about Community Land Trusts and how they are supporting affordable homeownership and farmland preservation in Thurston County.
Details: Admission is free. Doors open at 5:30. A no-host bar offering wine and beer is available, with other beverages and light refreshments provided. Information about the Washington Center is available here, and a parking map can be found here.
In a relaxed, informal atmosphere local CLT leaders and others who are working to support affordable homeownership and farmland preservation will share two short, powerful documentaries, then open a conversation informed by what is happening around the state and across the country, and what we need (and can do) here in the South Sound. We expect and hope those attending will join in!
Presented by Thurston Housing Land Trust and the Community Farmland Trust. For more information, please email info@thurstonhousinglandtrust.org
